Hi there! I’m Dory and welcome to my humble corner on the internet. Nice to meet you and thank you for checking me out.

Just a heads up, I don’t write scholastic type of articles but I like sharing my experiences on how life is as a freelancer.

Just a brief introduction, I’m a freelance virtual assistant and social media manager living in the Philippines. My life took a different turn after pandemic, got laid off from my 3-year employment, found a temporary remote job, lost my mom to COVID in 2021, quit my last corporate job after a month of grieving, started venturing into the freelancing world, and have broken up with my 7-year long relationship. Whew!

What else can I say? It was a roller coaster ride for sure, but I know I wasn’t the only one whose life changed due to the pandemic. It shook all of us and made us reflect on how we spent our lives. So I made it a mission to pursue things that I’ve always wanted to do despite the challenges.

One of the things I wanna pursue is blogging that’s why I’m here. You, as a visitor might have stumbled upon numerous blogs like this or have watched countless of vlogs surrounding the laptop life, but I do hope you’d still find my blog somehow valuable.
